Your CROPLAN GENETICS® seed local agronomist can help you select the right seed enhancements for the highest return potential on your soybean seed investment.

Seed Enhancements Boost Prospective Yields
Helping your soybean crop achieve its maximum yield potential includes using the right seed enhancement systems that promote a strong, healthy start with access to optimum nitrogen. CROPLAN GENETICS® soybean seed is available with inoculants to replace important nitrogen-fixing rhizobia that can be missing from the soil and seed treatments to fight early-season disease and insect threats.

Improved Yield Potential, Minimized Fertilizer Costs
CROPLAN GENETICS® seed offers highly effective soybean inoculants to help maximize soybean yield when rhizobia in the soil are deficient. Rhizobia help form nodules on soybean plant roots and convert atmospheric nitrogen into a useable form. By adding inoculants to legume crops, growers help improve the soil naturally with the converted additional nitrogen, saving fertilizer costs and potentially earning higher profits. Your CROPLAN GENETICS® seed local agronomist can help you select the right inoculant to match your production system.

Early-Season Insect and Disease Protection
CROPLAN GENETICS® seed provides a variety of leading seed treatments to protect your crop’s yield potential. Seed treatments include leading fungicide and insecticide technology to protect against a broad spectrum of harmful insects and disease pathogens. This early-season protection helps soybeans get off to a strong start by increasing plant stands, uniformity and plant vigor.

Several leading seed treatments are available with CROPLAN GENETICS® seed, including Warden® RTA® fungicide seed treatment and Warden® CZ fungicide and insecticide seed treatment, which are part of the AgriSolutions™ crop protection products line.

Warden® RTA® Seed Treatment
Warden® RTA® seed treatment protects seed and young seedlings from several major diseases, including:

  • Phytophthora
  • Rhizoctonia
  • Fusarium
  • Pythium
  • Phomopsis
  • Seed-borne Sclerotinia

Warden® RTA® seed treatment protection includes the highest level of Phytophthora activity, delivering 0.32 ounces of mefenoxam per 100 pounds of seed and 0.08 ounces of fludioxonil per 100 pounds of seed.

Warden® CZ Seed Treatment
Warden® CZ seed treatment is a convenient premix formulation of Cruiser® (thiamethoxam) and Warden® RTA® (fludioxonil + mefenoxam) seed treatments for insect and disease protection. This effective combination protects soybean seed and seedlings against damaging seed and foliar-feeding insects as well as major seed and soilborne diseases.

Warden® CZ seed treatment is applied at nearly half the rate of Cruiser® and Warden® RTA® seed treatments applied separately, but includes the same level of active ingredient applied to the seed. The lower product application rate means drier soybeans and less bridging in equipment and planters. The lower rate also makes Warden® CZ seed treatment ideal for use with inoculants, seed-applied nutrients and other seed enhancement products. The result is increased stands, plant vigor and yield potential.
