Ignite® herbicide and the LibertyLink® trait provide another option for convenient and cost-effective weed control, and give growers a highly effective tool for weed resistance management.
The LibertyLink® trait is the effective alternative to the Roundup Ready® trait in corn.
LibertyLink® technology combines high-yielding genetics with the powerful, nonselective, postemergent weed control delivered by new Ignite® herbicide.
The LibertyLink® trait is available in a wide selection of high-yielding hybrids, including all Herculex® and Agrisure® CB/LL hybrids, for optimum yield potential and excellent weed control.
U.S. canola producers have long been familiar with high-yielding InVigor® canola hybrids. For 2009, Ignite® will replace Liberty® as the broad-spectrum, nonselective herbicide choice for in-crop weed control in InVigor® canola hybrids. The more concentrated Ignite® formulation means less product to haul and fewer jugs for disposal.
Ignite® herbicide, labeled for use on all LibertyLink® crops, is the alternative to glyphosate. Ignite® herbicide provides outstanding postemergent control of more than 120 broadleaf weeds and grasses, including woolly cupgrass, velvetleaf, cocklebur, foxtail, marestail, ragweed and waterhemp, along with weeds resistant to multiple herbicide classes.
Ignite® herbicide is labeled for use on all LibertyLink® crops, including corn, cotton, canola and new LibertyLink® soybeans. Ignite® herbicide is an excellent way for growers to manage weed resistance by rotating nonselective herbicide-tolerant systems to effectively manage weed resistance and preserve the utility of these technologies.
